1st Livewire Bright Ideas Workshop held in Temburong


Bandar Seri Begawan – THIRTEEN participants of the AiTi ICT Rural Outreach Programme (iROP) yesterday took part in a two-day Bright Ideas Workshop held at the Youth Centre in Temburong.

The Bright Ideas Workshop aims to assist individuals interested to start a business in financial, legal and mental aspects. This workshop was conducted with the cooperation of AITI, Zimac Silicon, and infomars Technology.

The workshop was aimed to assist individuals who are interested in starting and running a business in Financial, Legal and Mental aspects, as well as to provide participants with the technical know-how and practical skills to enable them to provide IT services as a sustainable business within the district.The participants of the iROP programme were trained and tasked to create and develop ICT literacy within the Temburong District to bridge the “Digital Divide”.

“The Bright Ideas Workshop aims to provide these participants with technical know-how and practical skills to provide IT services as a sustainable business within the district,” reads the statement from LiveWIRE Brunei.

LiveWIRE Brunei is a community development programme that is fully sponsored by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP). It aims to develop young budding entrepreneurs that will develop the diversification of the Brunei economy.
